To ring in the new year - a new rant post

I hate it when I’m at a party where not everyone is familiar with each other, but there’s this one person that will cling on to you all night because they can’t handle meeting new people on their own. Literally, I will be talking to a stranger and all they do is stand there, not saying a word, or just watching us talk for the entire time. What’s up with that? It’s creepy, strange, and to be quite honest, suffocating. I hate that feeling of having someone hovering over me, watching my every move. And for someone to rely on me during a time when we’re supposed to be celebrating and having a good time, another’s inability to be independent is one way to make sure they aren’t invited to another get together. Not just with me, anyway.

Aside from that, Happy 2013! I’m so excited to be moving on to another aspect of my life in the coming year, which is something I’ve been working nonstop towards for that last 5 years. I think people who know me will say that one word to describe me is ‘hardworking’ (I’ve been told that numerous times, so thank you :D), so my new year’s resolution would be to keep working hard towards my future. Just because I reached one goal doesn’t mean I can relax! :) But I do plan on taking a break and travelling to Asia or Europe in the summer.
